2011 Liberty Presentation
The Liberty Presentation is one of the most popular exhibitions at the Midwest Horse Fair®. While this presentation spotlights not only the beauty and magnificence of each horse, it is also an opportunity to educate and inform the audience on the many different breeds and disciplines that are available in the horse world. Since the Midwest Horse Fair® is committed to quality education, as well as exciting entertainment, we are looking for mares, geldings or stallions that would be a good representation of their breed or discipline, and provide an exhilarating exhibition at liberty.
During a Liberty Presentation, each horse is presented individually, free of all tack, for two minutes in the Coliseum arena. This exhibition is open to any breed, mare, gelding or stallion. Mares with foals at their side will not be permitted.
This is a great opportunity to spotlight your magnificent horse, its breed and talents with Midwest Horse Fair® spectators. To have your horse considered, please submit an application and DVD to the Midwest Horse Fair®. Now is the perfect time to start planning for your DVD presentation-horses always look their best during the summer. Choose a dry, safe location, and the horse should be filmed at liberty, not on a lunge line. The presentation should be between two to five minutes per horse. There are more tips and guidelines on the application form.
The 2011 Liberty Presentation application and guidelines are now on the Midwest Horse Fair® website. The deadline to apply is January 3, 2011. A Midwest Horse Fair® committee will choose 18 horses for the Liberty Presentation. One alternate horse will also be chosen. Application status letters will be mailed out by February 15, 2011.

Notice: Photographers and Videographers
All attendees at the Midwest Horse Fair should be aware that there are “official photographers and videographers” on the grounds during the entire event. You may take photos and video at the fair for your own personal use, and we encourage you to do so, but selling them for a profit is strictly prohibited. Photos and video of attendees may be taken during the Midwest Horse Fair. With your entrance to the grounds you are giving permission for the Wisconsin State Horse Council to use any pictures or videos in which you might appear for future publicity, promotion, advertising or other media uses related to the Midwest Horse Fair.

Booth Service Order Kit
Exhibitors must contact the Alliant Energy Center for a booth service order kit. Exhibitors can order online at www.alliantenergycenter.com . Any electricity, tables, chairs, phone lines, internet, freight delivery, draperies, carpeting, etc. is an additional cost to the exhibitor. Contact the Alliant Energy Center if you have any questions, 608-267-3950. The Midwest Horse Fair® does not purchase/provide these amenities.
