ILHA Invitational Freestyle Show as part of the Midwest Horse Fair 2025 Evening Shows!
Watch Top Liberty competitors compete for $2,500 in cash and ILHA Winner Buckle each night in the ILHA Invitational Freestyle Show as part of the Midwest Horse Fair Friday and Saturday evening shows from 6:45 pm - 7:30 pm!
In this special performance, 5 Top ILHA Liberty competitors will have up to 5 minutes for their Freestyle Performance - complete with music and costumes - to showcase their horse(s) Liberty skills.
All ILHA Freestyle Competitions consist of a Compulsory Pattern and a Freestyle Performance. Compulsory Pattern competitions will take place during the day at the Midwest Horse Fair, free as part of the daily admission ticket. The Freestyle Show will take place as part of the evening show, requiring a separate ticket that will include the PRCA Rodeo. The Compulsory and Freestyle scores will be combined for a Total Score with the winner announced each night during the evening show.

The ILHA is the original and only recognized association for the Liberty discipline. The ILHA was founded to promote the Liberty discipline and celebrate Liberty training, horses, trainers, competitors and fans everywhere.
The ILHA has organized the discipline of Liberty with an official competition structure, guidelines and rules that promote safety, fun, consistency and creativity for all involved. The ILHA serves as the Official Governing Body for the Liberty discipline and offers local, national, international, online, specialty and championship Liberty horse shows. The ILHA Judging System is the official format for judging Liberty horsemanship with its combined technical and stylistic elements that reward the highest level of expertise with consideration for connection, degree of difficulty and partnership.
Above all, the ILHA educates and promotes the Liberty discipline through its website, publications, shows, competitions, events and social media platforms.
