Hunter & Jumper Clinics

As a horseman, Bernie is renowned for not only his riding talents but also for his teaching and coaching.  As a competitor, Traurig has represented the US Equestrian Team both at home and abroad on many occasions, reaching the top of the sport in all three of the Olympic disciplines:  Show Jumping, Dressage and Eventing. With 60 years of experiences with thousands of horses, Bernie is driven to give back to the sport that has given him so much fulfillment and success.

Bernie Traurig Clinic Opportunities

Bernie is seeking Hunter and Jumper riders with horses looking to improve their skills for his sessions. He is currently looking for Hunter riders that can consistently jump 3'. He is also seeking Jumper riders that can consistently jump 3' 6". Please submit video of a maximum of 5 minutes demonstrating the horse and rider‘s ability to canter around and consistently jump at the 3' or 3’ 6”  height for the session you are applying for.

FEES
The participation fee is $275 for his clinics and will include (3) one-hour sessions and will include (up to 4 horses) in each session. The fee is due only if selected. The fee includes one stall and one 3-day horse exhibitor wristband The entry fee will be charged regardless of any other participation at the event. If participating with the same horse in any other clinic or area, the stall and weekend admission will not be included. If selected for multiple clinics, multiple fees will apply.

Show Jumping & Sore Horse Clinics

Based out of New Zealand, Vicki Wilson is a winning World Cup Show Jumper and Equine Therapist.  In addition, Wilson is the current two-time Road to the Horse World Champion of Colt Starting, competing for her third title next year.  Vicki travels the world showcasing her unique horsemanship and presents her equine therapy workshops. At home in New Zealand, Wilson runs her warmblood breeding operation and trains her Show Jumping team.  Vicki will share her knowledge presenting sore horse body work clinics and Show Jumping boot camps!

Vicki Wilson Clinic Opportunities

Vicki is seeking Show Jumping horses and riders looking to advance their skills. Additionally Vicki is looking for horses with soreness issues for her sore horse bodywork clinics.  For the Show Jumping clinics intermediate riders capable of performing jumps at 3' - 3'3" and above are desired. For the bodywork clinics she requests video of a maximum of 5 minutes, showing the horse under saddle or being lunged without saddle. Be sure to list the issue(s) the horse is having and any bodywork/vet treatments the horse has had previously. For the Show Jumping clinics include video of a maximum of 5 minutes, demonstrating the rider‘s ability to canter around and consistently jump at the 3' - 3’ 3” and above.
