Please follow these guidelines should your group plan to use props during your Breed & Discipline Demonstrations.
Black Powder & Mounted Shooting Guns
Black powder & mounted shooting guns are prohibited in Breed & Discipline Demonstrations.
Flag Presentation
We require that all exhibitors considering flag presentations in their demonstrations notify the Midwest Horse Fair in writing and be granted permission. Please read these federal regulations regarding the display and use of our nation’s flag. Please click here to access the regulations. Out of respect, please be sure to implement proper flag etiquette when displaying the American flag.
Obstacles
Cavaletti, jump standards, barrels, pedestals, and other commonly used equine obstacles are permitted in Breed & Discipline Demonstrations. Please keep in mind that your group must supply and transport their own props and make arrangements for group members to set up and take down these props within the allotted 10 minute demonstration time.
Permission Required
The Midwest Horse Fair must be notified in writing and grant permission if you plan to incorporate working farm equipment, horse(s) at liberty, hitches that are greater than three abreast, and obstacles which require motorized transportation into the arena.
