There is no vaccine or testing requirement for the evening PRCA Rodeos on Friday and Saturday or for any portion of the Midwest Horse Fair.
Face Coverings are optional for the Midwest Horse Fair
Midwest Horse Fair will not be placing any additional restrictions for Covid-19, beyond what city, county, state and/or federal regulations are in place at the time of the event.
As of March 1, 2022, Dane county does not have a mask mandate.
Attendees are asked to watch for symptoms of Covid-19 and to stay home if feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms. Those who have come in contact with a known positive Covid-19 case within 14 days of the event should not attend.
Attendees are encouraged to follow the recommendations of the CDC and Public Health Madison & Dane County, to wash hands frequently, use hand sanitizer, wear a face covering and limit direct contact with others, maintaining six feet of distance when possible.
Alliant Energy Center is dedicated to the health and safety to visitors and has recently installed an ionization system designed to remove viruses, like the strains responsible for COVID-19, from the air. The venue has also been given Global Bio-risk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR™ facility accreditation for its infectious diseases preparation and response. To further enhance safety the venue has also implemented an initiative known as their Clean Slate Program.
