Boone is easily the most versatile horse we have here on the ranch. He's comfortable both in the pasture and in the arena. With some of the biggest names in the cowhorse world like Peptoboonsmal and High Brow Cat directly on his papers, he really is an athlete.
He was the 2019 Wisconsin Ranch Riding circuit high points leader. He's been hauled to PRCA rodeos for hazing during steer wrestling. Currently his main job is Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying in the Wisconsin High School Rodeo Association where he carried my daughter to State Finals in 2024.
He's also rode in grand entries and carried flags for PRCA, WHSRA and Amateur rodeos. His behavior in these environments while surrounded by mares really is a testament to his good mind and manners.
