Horsemanship for Stockmanship

We are delighted to welcome Purina Ambassador, Curt Pate, back to teach at the Midwest Horse Fair in 2025 as part of our Journey Home theme, continuing the legacy he began with us as a clinician in 1999!
Curt has spent over 25 years leading clinics, demonstrations, and lectures on horsemanship, colt starting, cattle handling, grazing, and livestock safety. As a co-founder and co-presenter of the renowned National Cattlemen’s Beef Association ‘Stockmanship and Stewardship’ program, Curt has gained a reputation as a sought-after clinician both nationally and internationally. His expertise in both horsemanship and stockmanship, coupled with his clear communication skills have made him a key figure in the industry.
Curt brings great value to the livestock sector with his innovative thinking, ability to challenge conventional approaches, and eagerness to share his knowledge. His lifelong experience using horses and dogs in ranch work adds credibility to his teachings, enabling him to effectively connect with a wide range of audiences, from horsemen and ranchers to feedlot operators, facility managers, and youth organizations. Curt is also a lifelong learner, constantly seeking new ways to enhance his skills and share his insights with others.
Welcome back, Curt!
