Essential Elements of Horsemanship
Lee Smith brings decades of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for horses to her work. She and her husband, Mark, live in Estancia, New Mexico, where they operate Harmony Hills Ranch, managing a cow-calf operation and raising quality Quarter Horses. Ranch life provides a practical foundation for Lee’s teaching, connecting horsemanship with the everyday demands of working with horses and cattle.
Since 1991, Lee has conducted thousands of clinics and demonstrations throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia, while also teaching ranch horse classes at home. She considers herself a lifelong student of the horse and feels fortunate to have shared her experience with thousands of horse people from around the world.
We’re delighted to welcome Lee and her Essential Elements of Horsemanship back to Midwest Horse Fair, where she’ll share her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for helping people grow alongside their horses!
