Midwest Horse Fair 2025 Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
1. Event Dates & Times
- Friday, April 11, the fair is open from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm; Coliseum doors open at 6:15 pm for the PRCA Rodeo & ILHA Liberty Freestyle Show which is a separate ticketed event.
- Saturday, April 12, the fair is open from 8:00 am - 7:00 pm; Coliseum doors open at 6:15 pm for the PRCA Rodeo & ILHA Liberty Freestyle Show which is a separate ticketed event.
- Sunday, April 13, the fair is open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
2. Admission Ticket Information at the Gate
- One Day Tickets - $25 CASH at the gate or through ticketmaster.com.
- Three Day Tickets - $55 CASH at the gate or through ticketmaster.com.
3. Will Call Information
- To pick up admission passes being held at Will Call, please enter the gate off of Olin Avenue. If you need to purchase additioanl passes, please do so at the general admission ticket booths off Olin Avenue. You will not be able to purchase tickest at the Will Call Booth. There will be no reimbursement for tickets purchased for volunteers, exhibitors or staff. NOTE Will Call booth will close daily at 1:00 pm with instructions posted at the booth should you arrive at the grounds after 1:00 pm.
4. Pet Policy
- Pets are discouraged overall, but if you bring your dog, they must be leashed at all times. Dogs are never allowed in the Coliseum or Exhibition Hall, with the exception of service animals as defined by the Americans With Disabilities Act. For the safety of your pet, they should never be left in cars unattended. If any pet is reported in a vehicle, authorities will be notified.
5. 4H Used Tack Sale Questions

6. Handicap Accessibility
Please note that the Alliant Energy Center is ADA Compliant, but if you ever have a specific question about accessing one of their facilities, or if you may require special arrangements, their website states your can contact them in advance via email at aec@alliantenergycenter.com, or by phone at (608) 267-3976. Midwest Horse Fair also does allow attendees to bring electric scooters and wheelchairs onsite as needed.
7. Lost & Found
If it is during the fair weekend, visit the Lost & Found located at the Show Office which is located on the second floor of Exhibition Hall during fair hours. If it is after the Midwest Horse Fair, call the Alliant Energy Center at 608.267.3980 to see if your items have been found.
8. Evening Shows
- Tickets for the Friday and Saturday evening shows are available through Ticketmaster. Seating map of Coliseum Seating
- A separate ticket is required for the evening shows.
- Children ages two and older are required to have a ticket. Kids under two will be allowed to sit on the lap of an adult.
- Blain's Farm & Fleet Coliseum will be cleared each night. Spectators must have a ticket to re-enter the Friday and Saturday evening performances.
- If you arrive for the evening show before 6:00 p.m., General Admission to the Midwest Horse Fair will be collected. After 6:00 p.m. each evening, you will only need an evening show ticket to enter the grounds.
