Midwest Horse Fair offers many educational opportunities, both during the fair and throughout the year.
Breeds & Disciplines
Learn about all the different breeds and disciplines of horses through demonstrations and, of course, seeing them up close in the pavilions. Check out the critical and threatened breeds based on Livestock Conservancy estimated global population of less than 500 or up to 5,000.
World Class Clinicians
Gain valuable insights from the world class clinicians as a participant or in the stands across various disciplines from Barrel Racing, Colt Starting, Dressage, Driving, Equine Feed, Eventing, Horsemanship, Hunter/Jumper, Liberty, Mounted Archery and Shooting, Mules, Roping, Saddle Seat, Trail Riding, Trailer Loading, Showmanship, Veterinary Care, Working Equitation, and more!
Be a Clinic Participant
Learn hands-on from clinicians who are masters in their disciplines! This is an opportunity to participate with your horse in a clinic at the Midwest Horse Fair.
Learn Old World Skills at Midwest Horse Fair!
New Maker's Clinics bring experts to the fair to teach old world skills such as cinch making, hat burning, saddlemanship, painting and more! Classes will vary each year.
Outside the Arena Podcast
Listen to the Midwest Horse Fair "outside the Arena" podcast, where we share wonderful real life stories and expert advice from the equine clinicians and entertainers from around the country who have been a part of the largest 3-day horse fair in the USA.
