Description of Boarding Operations
We are a small family friendly boarding barn. We offer outdoor boarding with a track system. Herds are separated into mares and geldings. There is an indoor and outdoor arena and trail around the property. Each horse gets fed based on their needs with our forage based feeding system.
Description of Lessons & Training Operations
I offer workshops and lessons based on equine biomechanics, balance and function. I also offer workshops on equine anatomy using bones as a guide for learning. Two training programs are offered. Pre-education is for young horses. This program is designed to give the young horse’s body a start in proper mechanics and balance before carrying a rider. Re-education is for older horses. Horses that qualify for this program can range from injury recovery, a restart in proper mechanics, anxious horses or those that have difficulty with a certain issue such as a lead change. This program starts on the ground. Each horse is evaluated and a program is developed based on their individual needs.
