Description of Operations
Boarding
Our dream came true! We added a 66 x 144 heated indoor arena that we recently attached to our barn. Horses are pastured with shelters and stalled only when necessary. We specialize in helping owners maintain a safe, well-trained horse.
Twin Artesian Stables is located in Suamico, WI. We love what we do & how our 10 lesson horses help us teach life lessons & build confidence. We are foundation based, starting from the ground up using ground work to develop the relationship and understanding you and the horse will use in the saddle. Advancement is achieved by building your basics better; it’s all about the little things & refinement!!
Lessons – Training - Clinics
Lessons - Our specialty is Western Dressage. Our goal for our students: safety, responsibility & FUN, all while challenging them! All aspects of horsemanship are taught using english or western in a private or group format. Never underestimate the value of QUALITY Groundwork to advance your riding & relationship together. We welcome trailering in to help you advance & build safety with your own horse.
Clinics - Clinics are held at your place or our stables. Our classes are small to allow personalized attention, a relaxed atmosphere and of course—FUN! Training - We offer training in our round pen or arenas, in our pond, on our trails. We are drawn to Natural Horsemanship as it’s not about dominance, gimmicks, or devices. Gimmicks take away from a horse’s thought process. We focus on the mutual trust and respect between horse & rider as a means to create a harmonious relationship through feel & finesse. A relaxed, forward-moving, happy horse must always come first. Building respect, softness & balance is our training goal.
Trainer Qualifications
Meet Ellie & Ron Jensen, Your ER Team! We are a husband & wife team that loves teaching together. Ellie Jensen’s career with horses spans over 29 years as a teacher & trainer, delivering clinics, private & group lessons. Ellie offers a unique combination of dressage blended with her extensive education in foundation training. She feels privileged to have ridden with and been trained by “Master horseman”- Tom Dorrance, “Master of Communication”- Ray Hunt and World-renowned Buck Brannaman. The “Classical Cowboy”- Patrick King, Jack Curtis, and Ariana Sakaris, along with many other clinicians. Ron carries his own dedication with 15+ years, having rode and trained with Buck Brannaman, Richard Winters, Brad Hall, Cliff Swanson, Jeff Wilson, Patrick King, Deb Davies, and Jack Curtis. We are committed to always advancing our own skills; a true horseman never quits learning.
