Lil Rockstar is an exceptional stallion whose career has become a landmark for the Chilean breed in North America. Carefully selected in Chile, Imported and completely developed by Marcelo Guzmán, Lil Rockstar represents the highest standard of the MG Horses program and carries the official MG Horses “Heart-to-Heart” Seal — a mark of intentional development, discipline, and a horse-first partnership that produces excellence without compromising welfare.
Lil Rockstar was selected to showcase one of the Chilean Horse’s greatest distinctives: true multi-purpose performance. He is not defined by a single discipline, but by his ability to excel across them. A Senior/Master-level Working Equitation Champion (Region 5), he has proven himself through the most demanding elements of the sport — correct dressage-based work, technical maneuverability, bravery in obstacles, and speed with control.
Before beginning his historic American career, Lil Rockstar was already recognized at the highest level in Chile. He was selected for Chile’s National Team pathway for FEI international competition and later proudly represented Team Chile at the FEI World Equestrian Games (2018). Only after that recognition was he fully imported to the United States, where he launched the next chapter of his career and collected the titles that now define his legacy.
In addition to Working Equitation, Lil Rockstar holds an elite record in Reining, earning Open-level NRHA championship titles across multiple U.S. circuits, ridden and presented by Marcelo Guzmán. He was also named American Stock Horse Association (ASHA) Region 5 Overall Champion (2023) with Steve Kutie. During his Reining career, Lil Rockstar was presented primarily by Marcelo Guzmán and, on one memorable occasion, by Steve Kutie at the NRHA Derby Freestyle Invitational, featuring a bold standing-on-the-saddle performance in competition that earned him recognition as a crowd favorite for style, bravery, and partnership.
Most importantly, Lil Rockstar is a proven sire. His offspring are already earning wins and performing in high-profile competitive and artistic venues — including Tecumseh and Equifest Kansas — validating that Lil Rockstar consistently reproduces trainability, presence, athletic power, and heart.
