Dr. Allie Baier, PT, DPT created EquiPT to weave together her background as a Physical Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and equestrian. Using her expertise, medical degree and intuition, Dr. Baier helps riders find strength, mobility and confidence to accomplish their equestrian goals. She also uses video biomechanical assessment to provide a dynamic view of how health conditions may affect the harmony between riders and their horses. Her Somatic Experiencing® training taps into the intelligence of the rider’s nervous system, uncovering unconscious tension and movement patterns that may linger from unresolved trauma or stress stored in the body. Dr. Baier is adept at creating a safe, relaxed environment where individuals can pursue the goal of becoming a fully present, ready rider that thrives on and around horses. EquiPT services include individual sessions, group riding clinics, unmounted workshops, personal somatic experiencing support, virtual care, and speaking events.
