Loretta Bradfield is an artist, horse breeder, writer, and independent movie producer with a passion for telling authentic horse stories. She serves as president of the Drum Horse Breed Registry and is a dedicated advocate for the breed. Her script Heartbeat of a Drum Horse won Best Script of the Year at the Equus Film and Arts Festival and was later brought to life as a feature film. The project also inspired a children’s book she created, and she even contributed to the music for the film, showcasing her creative spirit across multiple art forms.
Loretta will also be joining us with BH Spectacular 'Toby', a 16h bay tobiano drum horse, foaled in 2012. Toby has a gentle temperament. With 22 titles under his saddle and four End of Year Highpoint awards, this remarkable stallion is the drum horse to beat in any western discipline. Toby joins us as a 2026 Celebrity Horse!
