16.1 Hands of black hair, power and strength. Gerent is a 7 year old Friesian stallion sired by the one and only approved stallion HESSEL 480. Gerent is registered with the KFPS registry and is currently in training with Mario Contreras and MC Horse Training in Maple Park Illinois.
Incredible bloodlines, correct conformation, jet black coat, fairytale mane and tail and incredible power give this horse all the qualities and characteristics that Friesian fans, owners, and breeders are looking for.
Gerent is considered to be more of the sport or modern version of the Friesian breed and has many distinguishing characteristics of his sire. Some of these features include his taller build, longer legs, slightly thinner neck and the neck to shoulder ratio and the longer flat back.
One of the best characteristics of this incredible breed is their gentle and quiet demeanor. While he is in training, Gerent is also teaching his 12 year old owner, Victoria how to ride. There are not many kids that learn how to ride on a 7 year old stallion, but the disposition and the easy going nature of this wonderful stallion make him an excellent and patient teacher.
Currently Gerent is learning everything from the basics, to perfecting his Spanish walk, piaffe and passage. His willing and enthusiastic work ethic make him a joy to ride and train.
