MARANA TRINITY'S KINGDUN - Mirabellas Mondo/ Trust-T Honey-D

Trinity has become a key part of the SRR performance program, producing striped Morgan foals every year at the Sunrise Ranch. These foals are always in high demand, as well as his stud services.

Trinity embodies the ideal of the Western Working Morgan with stout bone, generous muscle, clear Morgan type, and a confident, friendly temperament. It is easy to see his athleticism as he works off his haunches and reaches well in his canter. Under saddle, he is confident and accurate. He enjoys the focus of working cattle or heading out on a relaxed trail ride, but is also attentive for detailed obstacle work.

Trinity has tested to be free from any recessive gene for gait, so his foals will never be gaited. His trot is relaxed and pleasant to ride, and his canter is rocking, easy, and long. While many are familiar with the Park type show Morgans of today, Trinity is of the old type, bred like the ranch QH, for work and performance. This stallion is an excellent sport Morgan for Western disciplines and ideal to cross for an upgrade with other breeds.

Rare among Morgans, Trinity is a homozygous dun with one cream gene. That means he will throw a dun foal every time, and he has a 50% chance of giving a creme dilute too! With the EE factor, Trinity cannot produce a red-based foal and he throws a lot of grullas and dunskins like himself. He has an extremely thick wavy double mane, which he is known to pass on to his foals, along with the well-developed muscled hindquarters which are unique in the breed. Aside from the dun factor, confidence, curiosity, and friendliness are the foal traits that Trinity is most selected for as a sire.

Visitors to the Sunrise Ranch don’t have any trouble picking out the foals by Trinity. They are the ones with stripes that are standing right behind their elbow, waiting for attention.

MARANA TRINITY'S KINGDUN is available via frozen semen which was processed at Select Breeders Services in Aubrey, TX. His collections are excellent with a high post-thaw forward motility. Contact the Sunrise Ranch for more details on available Trinity foals or about how to get one from your mare next year.
